Everyone is Cranky Today

Jacob and I had a lightsaber battle yesterday. For him it is a game, but I actually am defending myself! I have to parry his death-dealingly hard blows or else I'm a goner. I'm not always that good at it, and he hits my fingers instead of my lightsaber, and it really hurts. Eventually I had to resort to fighting dirty. I ran into his bedroom and started using the force to hurl pillows at him.

We went and played at Catherine's in the afternoon, well the kids played and Catherine and I had coffee. Then Darren got home after 5, Danielle had given me an ETA of him getting in around Olivia's waking up time, but no luck haha. Jacob threw a fit, and toys, when it was time to go. He was soo bad I don't know why. Ugh. We went out for pizza, and then the kid's had baths and bedtime. I went back to hang out at Catherine's and we had celebratory "We Survived the Week" cocktails. I survived the week alone with the kids and she survived her first week at her new job. We watched Hayden and Curtis play a dancing game on Wii, and then we played Rummy Tiles with Curtis. Then Catherine and I played the dancing game, and Adam said we looked ridiculous, but it was fun. Then we were overheated so we went on Facebook and looked at people's pictures. Next we watched The Soup and Cops, and by then it was 2ish, so I went home.

We plan on going clubbing tonight. I am excited to go, but I don't feel like going through my beauty regimen. I will man up and do it at some point. Haha, "manning up" to tweeze eyebrows? And I have to pick out an outfit. I think I might wear my new shirt my mom gave me for Christmas that says "Thank You, Mood!"
